The Hotel

The structure was built in the 900s and it was completely renovated and inaugurated in 2008. There are so many big spaces, indoors and outdoors, a big green dehors, bowls fields, a bar, an open parking and a playground for children.
The Restaurant

Our cooks Renato and Andrea offer you a good high kitchen, typical Piedmont dishes with local products. There are lots of good wines. You can also organise cerimonies or special diners.
The Pizzeria

In the evening there is also the Pizzeria service indoor or take-away.
The Hotel
The hotel ‘dei Pescatori’ is managed by two families and they offer you a very wonderful welcome. The good Piedmont kitchen with also typical wines is a very good combination of this nice structure completely renovated in 2008 and situated in a little hamlet called Vigna, a nice green village nearby the Natural Park Alta Valle Pesio. Lucia and Federica are really nice and likeable, they are the protagonists of this structure and with them you feel at home. Everyday they give you new ideas, different stay programs to satisfy everybody… old people and children, sportsman, lazy or curios people and also the people who are on holiday! The landscape is wonderful, green and cool in summer, coloured in autumn with mushrooms and chestnuts, in winter the nice white snow which gives a special atmosphere, especially if you sit down in front of the warm fireplace, reading a book or drinking a wine glass or a cup of chocolate! Inside you can find also bowls fields, a playground for children and a comfortable and relaxing gazebo among trees where you can spend nice afternoons, reading or playing cards. During winter, around the hotel there are several skiing structures, nice trails, biathlon, ice rinks and thermal baths. In summer there is a famous fishing reserve and in our hotel you can buy coupons to go there.
The Restaurant
There are two rooms: one big with one hundred places and the other little but nice, close with fireplace. The kitchen is very important for our structure. The cook Renato, helped by Andrea, is able to prepare and offer nice good typical Piedmont dishes. If you book in advance, he is also good at preparing fresh fish such as our special ‘Trota del Pesio’(trout). He is also a good pastry cook, you can eat our daily fresh sweets. For people who love meat, we can suggest ‘tagliata’(sliced beef) and cooked fillet on a stone and other dishes such as: ‘Insalata Russa, Vitello Tonnato, Battuta di Fassone and Bagna Cauda’. The pasta is also handmade, and you can find tagliolini, gnocchi, ravioli, maltagliati.
The Pizzeria
From February 2015 the hotel dei Pescatori offers also the Pizzeria service in the evening indoor and take-away. It’s a very good pizza; the leavening is made with natural rising agents. The traditional dough is composed by white flour, now, also with cereal flour thanks to the mixture of four different flours. There are lots of pizzas, from the classic Margherita to the Piedmont one ‘Bagna Cauda’, from special ‘Pian del Creus’ and ‘Passo del Duca’ to the personalised ‘Come vuoi tu’(you can choose the ingredients by yourself).
The Rooms
Eleven rooms: two for disabled people, for a total of 25 beds. We have got single, double, triple, quadruple rooms and if you want you can required another little bed for children. All the rooms are big, bright and inside there are TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower. Each room has got a little or big terrace so the guest can see a different landscape depending which room he has got. There is also an indoor lift and we accept also little animals. You can easily reach the hotel dei Pescatori from Cuneo and Mondovi.
